102 total routes, 66 of them good. A 64.71% overall success rate.

Yes, it has been a long time since these results were updated. The reasons
for this were many, chiefly the state of flux the remailer network has been
under during the last few months (remailers going offline, new ones added
etc.) and the fact that I needed to devise a better way of testing so that
test messages would propagate. Things seem to have settled down now and
I've made adjustments.

At the time of this writing the choice of mail2news gateways is limited.
With panta offline, we have the mixmin and banana gateways, the kulin
gateway and dizum. If any of these services went down it could get
serious. The bright side is that all of these services show extremely good
reliability across the board. If fact, if we take the panta remailer and
gateway out of the mix, we have
80 total routes, 66 of them good. An 82.5% overall success rate.

I can write a simple sysnopis of "don'ts" here:
The austria, devurandom, hastio, neush and nymu remailers will not post
using a Post directive.
The austria remailer will not post through the banana and dizum mail2news.
The hastio and frell remailers will not post through the kulin mail2news.

That's it. Everything else works.

The gpfa, neush and nymu remailers added to the results.
The panta remailer and mail2news down at time of testing, marked as BAD. I
left them in the results hoping against hope they come back someday.

The gpfa, neush and nymu remailers added to the results.
The panta remailer and mail2news down at time of testing, marked as BAD. I
left them in the results hoping against hope they come back someday.
I should also add that the metacolo remailer has been down for a lenght of
time, marked as BAD but left in the results in case it returns.
